Faith Formation at Grace focuses on the spiritual development and Christian education of all adults, youth, and children. The term “faith formation” refers to the life-long journey of all parishioners as we grow in the knowledge, service and love of God and our neighbor as followers of Christ. We do this through study, prayer, practice, music, worship, fellowship, service, conversations and more – many ways!
Sunday morning classes, called Christian Education (or often just CE) at Grace, will begin meeting on Sunday, August 19. Classes are available for children, youth, and adults from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. The nursery is open during the Christian Education hour for children 4 and under.
Please plan to join us on August 19 as we kick off another great year of faith formation at Grace!
Calling ALL acolytes – experienced or brand new, youth or adult! Please plan to attend training in the nave on Sunday, August 19 immediately following the 10:45 AM service.
In order to make room for new furniture that has been purchased for our campus, we are offering parishioners the chance to buy selected sofas, tables, and chairs. This Sunday, August 19, look for bid sheets that indicate available pieces located in the connector corridor and in the parlor. You can also place bids on our Facebook page. Furniture auction will end following the 10:45 AM service. Proceeds will benefit Grace Church’s building fund.
Contemplative Summer School
Come share in the conversation at the last Contemplative Summer School, Sunday, August 19 at 6:00 PM in the Parish Hall. We will explore these two phenomenal books, by two phenomenal people: Pilgrimage of a Soul by Phileena Heuertz and The Soul of a Leader by Margaret Benefiel. Even if you haven’t been able to come to prior summer schools, don’t hesitate… grab a book, read some, and come share your thoughts with the group.
