On Sunday, May 6 at 6:00 PM, the choir will offer a service of sung Evensong to honor the feast of Gregory of Nazianzus, fourth-century Bishop of Constantinople and framer of the Doctrine of the Trinity. A light supper will be served at 5:00 PM (reservations were requested by May 2) and Caitlin Dowling, Music Associate at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, will play a pre-service recital beginning at 5:30 PM.
Please note: incense will be used during this service.

Doughn-It Feel Good to be at Grace

Please join us in the parish hall from 9:00 – 9:30 AM on Sunday, May 6 for coffee and doughnuts to welcome our newest friends to Grace.

Christian Education

Christian Education classes will meet for the last time of the church school year on Sunday, May 6. All classes will gather together on May 13 for a CE Celebration, which will include a continental breakfast and a special intergenerational activity. Make plans to join us!

Prayer Practice

Prayer has many forms as unique to us as we are to our Creator. The Daughters of the King are sponsoring a Prayer Practice class on the second Wednesday of each month. Join us in the Grace Center Conference Room at 10:30 AM on May 9. We welcome all women to come and learn with us.

Wednesday Night at Grace

Come eat dinner together on Wednesday, May 9 at 5:30 PM! Sign up online, at the information station, or call the church office by noon on Monday.

Menu: meat lasagna, caesar salad, steamed broccoli, garlic bread, cannoli
Vegetarian Entree: vegetable lasagna
Children: 1/2 portion regular menu or PBJ, Cookies

If you make a reservation and do not attend, you will still be asked to pay for the meal that is ordered for you. Thank you for understanding. Cost is free for kids up to 5th grade, $5 youth (6th-12th grade), and $10 adults. Nursery/childcare (children up to 5th grade) is offered from 5:00-9:00 PM on Wednesdays. Reservations are necessary and should be made on the same form as meal reservations.

Let There Be Acolytes!

An acolyte training will be held on Wednesday, May 9 from 6:00 – 7:00 PM following our Wednesday night dinner. This is for all CURRENT and NEW acolytes, and includes youth and adults. Please join us in this very special ministry.

VBS Registration Continues

Rising PreK-5th graders are invited to our 2018 Vacation Bible School, “Wizards and Wonders: A Hero’s Journey with Harry Potter,” June 25-29 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM. Together we will explore how we are called to journey with God, how we are transformed along the way, and how we become the people God created us to be. A $25 donation per child to help offset expenses would be appreciated. Registration will continue until all remaining spaces are filled.

Movie Night

Grace adults gather each month in the Youth Room to watch and discuss movies old and new addressing a wide variety of subjects. A very casual occasion, participants often bring a little food and drink to share. We always have a good time and lively discussion-join us at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 11.
