Our world faces many struggles. Anxiety and fear grab our attention. How can we respond with faithfulness and love to help build a better community? We have tried debates, arguments, yelling, posts, and tweets. Why not experience the wisdom of the Christian contemplative tradition? How might sharing silence with one another help ground us and build deeper relationships?
When you encounter the broken and wounded heart of another human being, you encounter the broken and wounded heart of God. In spaces of shared silence, we can experience a deeper awareness of God’s presence, and we can begin to experience the transformation that is promised to us.
Join us in the Grace Episcopal Church parish hall for ENCOUNTER on Sunday, April 15 from 6:30 – 8:00 PM. Enter through the St. Francis Garden doors.

Women’s Study Continues
All women of Grace are invited to join us in our book study: Barefoot: A Story of Surrendering to God by Sharon Garlough Brown. We are meeting in the conference room of The Grace Center from 6:30-8:00 PM on Wednesdays until May 16. This book is the third book in the Sensible Shoes series, but whether you’ve read the other books or not, you’ll find yourself in the lives of the four women of Barefoot-in their gratitude and grief, in their longings, and in their resilient hope. Join us to explore those themes with your fellow travelers.
