Join Fr. Stuart on Sunday, May 7 for a special conversation about his ongoing work with The New Contemplatives Exchange. This global network of eighteen contemplative scholars, professors, practitioners, and authors will meet in August at St. Benedict’s Monastery in Snowmass, CO. The group was formed by invitations from the four pivotal founders of the Christian contemplative movement over the past forty years: Thomas Keating (Contemplative Outreach), Richard Rohr (The Center for Action and Contemplation), Tilden Edwards (The Shalem Institute for Spiritual formation), and Laurence Freeman (The World Community for Christian Meditation).
Fr. Stuart’s particular piece is focused on contemplative practices and leadership within parish settings, with an eye toward interfaith dialogue and discernment within communities. While in Snowmass, the Exchange will highlight target points for the coming decades within the global Christian contemplative movement, highlighting key areas of exploration and growth. He will share preliminary thoughts on May 7, and he will invite a conversation on ways to further expand our work as a community in this Bicentennial Season.
Sunday, May 7 is the last day of Christian Education classes for this academic year. On May 14 we will gather together in the parish hall to enjoy a continental breakfast and to thank all of our Christian Education leaders. Come help celebrate their ministry to the church.
COG Graduation and Last Day
Our COG PreK Class of 2017 will graduate on Tuesday, May 9 and the preschool will celebrate their last day of school on Wednesday with an Ice Cream Social. Please keep these teachers and students in your prayers as they finish their year and move into summer.

Come experience a time of restoration and renewal as we explore a variety of contemplative practices that can enrich our personal prayer lives. Find the one that resonates for you! Contact Cheryl Kelley or Laura Masterson with questions.
Our regular Wednesday evenings together have ended for this academic year.
Grace adults gather each month in the Youth Room to watch and discuss movies old and new addressing a wide variety of subjects. A very casual occasion, participants often bring a little food and drink to share. We always have a good time and lively discussion-join us at 7:00 PM on Friday, May 12.
