The Sunday of the Resurrection: April 16
A Choral Holy Eucharist
A Choral Holy Eucharist will be held at 9 AM and again at 11 AM. Both services will feature some very special music and will be a joyful celebration of the Resurrection!
Note: No incense at either service. No Children’s Chapel on Easter morning. A nursery will be available from 8:45 AM-12:15 PM for children age 4 and under.
A continental breakfast will be served in the parish hall between worship services, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM. Come end your Lenten fast.
Flowering of the Cross
All parishioners are invited to bring flowers and greenery from their garden to help flower the cross. This traditional Easter morning activity symbolizes that an instrument of cruel death has become a sign of life and love by the power and grace of God.
Resurrection Egg Hunt
Children 5th grade and younger are invited to bring their Easter baskets and meet at the crow’s nest across the street on the Brenau lawn (weather permitting) to participate in an egg hunt that will begin immediately following the 11:00 AM service.
Alleluia, He is Risen! Join us to celebrate the resurrection!
There are no Christian Education classes on Easter Sunday, April 16. Make plans to join us April 23, April 30, and for our last class on May 7. On May 14, all classes will meet together in the parish hall for a end-of-year celebration.
Don’t forget to bring your mite boxes to church on Easter Sunday! Baskets for receiving filled boxes will be available and money received will be forwarded to Episcopal Relief and Development to support projects assisting the needy in this and other countries.
The parish office will be closed on Monday, April 17.

Beginning Wednesday, April 19, Dr. Park will lead the Women’s Group in discussions on discipline, executive functioning – when to let your children fail, staying on the same page with your spouse and staying married, and creating a religious culture in your home that honors both spouses traditions. We will meet in the parlor from 6:15 – 8:15 PM April 19, April 26 and May 3 and from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on May 10.
Grace adults gather monthly to watch and discuss movies old and new addressing a variety of subjects. A very casual occasion, participants often bring a little food and drink to share. Join us in the youth room at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 21.
Grace Church will soon publish our annual bulletin honoring all graduates from high school, college, and graduate school. High school graduates will also be recognized at church on Sunday, May 21. Please note there is one combined service at 10:00 AM on May 21, followed by our annual parish picnic.
If you (or your child) will graduate this spring, fill out the online recognition form and send a photo to Jennifer at firstname.lastname@example.org. The deadline to submit information for the bulletin is Sunday, May 14.
