Music This Sunday

Lots of great music coming this Sunday, March 26: our bell choir will make their debut in worship, the adults will sing one of their favorite anthems, and our choristers have been working hard on this anthem to be joined by our very own Karyl Evans on flute. Don’t miss out!

Ecumenical Service/Lunch at Grace

At noon each Wednesday in Lent we gather with members of other churches in our community for worship and a light lunch (suggested donation of $5). Grace Church will host on March 29, with Pastor Scott Hearn (First United Methodist), preaching and music by the St. John Baptist Church Choir. Full schedule on our website. Please note that there will be no 12:10 PM service in our chapel during Lent.

Lenten Soup & Salad Suppers

The whole family is invited to come share fellowship and a simple soup and salad meal from 5:30 – 6:30 PM on Wednesday evenings during Lent. Cost is $6 for youth and adults, children 5th grade and younger eat free. The menu March 29 will be minestrone or tomato-basil soup, tossed salad, and dinner rolls. Reservations should be made online or at the information station by noon on Monday, March 27.

Wednesday Interfaith Dialogue

After dinner on Wednesday, March 29, Annelies Schellingerhoudt will join us to share about her journey to India and Nepal and her studies of the culture and religion there. Annelies is a junior at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida. She is a double major in Religious Studies and Ancient Studies. Annelies is the daughter of the Rev. Liz Schellingerhoudt, priest in charge at St. Clare’s in Blairsville.

An Invitation For Fr. Stuart

Fr. Stuart has recently been invited to participate in The New Contemplatives Exchange, a global network for contemplative studies and practice. Read more on the Diocese of Atlanta website. In the coming weeks, you will hear more about how this work with The New Contemplative Exchange will be weaving into our lives at Grace. There are extraordinary opportunities on the horizon, and the entire parish will be invited to explore how contemplative prayer can nurture our common life.
