Love Letters Lectures
Brenau University and Grace Church will present Love Letters to Jack, Love Letters to God, a symposium on the works of Joy Davidman and C.S. Lewis, on March 23-24. Join guest scholars and Brenau faculty for discussions and presentations celebrating these two prolific and compelling 20th century authors.

At noon each Wednesday in Lent we gather with members of other churches in our community for worship and a light lunch (suggested donation of $5). First Baptist Church will host on March 22, with Rev. Lee Koontz (First Presbyterian) preaching and music by the First United Methodist Church Choir. Full schedule on our website. Please note that there will be no 12:10 PM service in our chapel during Lent.
Lenten Soup & Salad Suppers
The whole family is invited to come share in a space of fellowship and a simple soup and salad meal from 5:30 – 6:30 PM on Wednesday evenings during Lent. Cost is $6 for youth and adults. Children 5th grade and younger eat free. The menu March 22 will be chicken noodle or vegetable noodle, tossed salad, and dinner rolls. Reservations should be made online or at the information station by noon on Monday, March 20.
Wednesday Night Bible Study
Please stay after dinner March 22 for a Lenten Bible Study. We will gather at 6:15 PM in the parish hall to explore the Gospel texts for Sunday, reflecting on their meaning for us today.
If you would like to make a donation toward Easter flowers, please fill out a donation form and return it with payment in the offertory plate or by mail to the church office at 422 Brenau Avenue, Gainesville, GA 30501. Deadline for orders is Sunday, April 9.
Member Art Show
The Grace Church Member Art show continues until April 23. Stop by the parish hall to enjoy a display of the amazing talent shared by some of your fellow Grace Church parishioners.
Lenten Sunday Forum
Our study of Lauren Winner’s Mudhouse Sabbath; Seven Ways of Christian Formation Inspired by the Jewishness of Jesus continues March 19 at 9:30 in the parish hall.
Mite Boxes (hope chests) invite us to make available during Lent some of our treasure for the relief of our needy neighbors. Continue to put your spare change in your mite box during Lent. (Extra boxes located at the information station.) Baskets for receiving filled boxes will be available on Easter Day. Money received will be forwarded to Episcopal Relief and Development to support projects assisting the needy in this and other countries.
