Forum: Bicentennial Vision Update
Join Fr. Stuart on Sunday morning, October 23 and 30, from 9:30-10:30 AM for a special forum discussing the ongoing work of the Bicentennial Vision Committee. The committee has been hard at work meeting with ministry groups throughout the entire parish, gathering hopes, dreams, and ideas as we listen to how the Spirit of Christ is leading us into our third century of shared worship and ministry. These conversations are so very important, as we continue to lean into God’s dream for us.

Interfaith Dinner Reservation Deadline
October 26 is the deadline to make a reservation if you plan to join us for dinner prior to the interfaith dialogue on Sunday evening, October 30. We will share dinner at 5:30, and the conversation will begin at 6:30, all in the parish hall. (Fr. Stuart is cooking dinner, meet in the kitchen around 2:00 PM if you’d like to help!)
Don’t miss the opportunity to share in a vital conversation with Imam Arshad and Fr. Brian Sullivan. This conversation will mark the beginning of a long-term dialogue with other faiths, an exercise that is so important for our world today. Imam Arshad and Fr. Brian are both exceptional people whose hearts are deeply attuned to the building of relationships.
SAGES Movie and Lunch
Join SAGES for a Movie and Lunch in the parish hall on Friday, October 28 from 12:30 – 3:00 PM. Lunch will be assorted sandwiches, salads and brownies, with coffee, tea, lemonade and water. There will be gluten free offerings as well. For those who might like a glass of wine, feel free to bring your own.
Please make a reservation for lunch so we have enough food. Sign up online or call the parish office (770-536-0126) by Monday, October 24 at 9:00 AM. Need a ride? Let that be known when making your reservation. We’ll see you get from home and back.
Trunk or Treat Come early on October 26 to decorate the youth car. Dress up in your Halloween finest. Stick around to eat at the Varsity food truck (reservations required) and to hand out candy. Prizes for best youth costume!
Advent Reflections Sign up to write an advent reflection for the rest of the parish. It’s super easy: read the readings. Think about what God is doing in that story. Think about what in your life (or someone else’s) this reminds you of. Write a short paragraph about it… what these readings make you think of… what they make you grateful for… Sign up at https://goo.gl/Q10SBk
