Hungry for an intimate, relaxed worship space? Gather with us in the chapel, Sunday evening, January 24, at 6:00 PM for a service of music, evening prayers, and Eucharist. Come as you are. Come curious and hopeful, broken and healed, joyful and burdened. Come. Let’s lay it all down, sing, and worship together.


COG Fall Registration

Registration for the 2016-2017 school year is currently under way for the Children of Grace preschool. Episcopal families can register Sunday, January 24 in the greeting area from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. You will need to fill out a registration form and pay the $75 registration fee. Openings will be made available to the general public on Thursday, January 28 starting at 9:30 AM. If you have any questions please call the preschool office at 770-536-9088.


Parishioner Emilie Cook is leading meditation in the nave on Tuesday evening, January 26 at 7:15 PM. Join us for a space of self reflection and serenity. All are welcome, no pre-registration required. Please use front entrance.

All Grace Church parishioners are invited to attend the Annual Parish Meeting on Wednesday, January 27, 2016. Fellowship at 5:30 PM, dinner at 6:00, and meeting at 7:00 PM. We will hear key reports of parish business, vote on adopting our updated bylaws, and elect four new vestry members.

Make a reservation for dinner and childcare (if needed) by Monday, January 25. details

Come build with us!

Thanks to everyone who has participated by building or providing lunches. We are continuing to partner with other churches on specific days. The next group build days for Grace are:
•    Tuesday, Jan. 26 (10am-4pm) w/First Presbyterian
•    Saturday, Feb. 6 (9am-3pm) w/Prince of Peace
•    Thursday, Feb. 25 (10am-4pm) w/First Baptist
To help us build on one of these days, sign up in the Greeting Area or contact Joe Cronmiller or Father Alan.


Foyer groups are a collection of small groups of adults who get together in one another’s homes for dinner. This a great opportunity for fellowship and we encourage newcomers to sign up! If you are interested in joining, please sign up at the information table or online no later than Sunday, February 7.

Mark Your Calendars: Pancake Supper

You are invited to our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on February 9 from 5:30-7:30 PM. Come help us clean out the pantry as we serve you in style! This year, we are hoping to welcome friends from First Baptist (yes, we’ll feed them, too!) who are tasting a bit of our liturgical life. Bring your appetite and your mardi-gras beads. details

2016 EMW Lecture: Peter Rollins

Buy tickets now for this year’s annual EMW Religion for the 21st Century lecture. Featured speaker Peter Rollins is a provocative writer, philosopher, storyteller, and public speaker from Ireland who has gained an international reputation for overturning traditional notions of religion. Rollins’ lecture is February 19 and 20 at the Brenau Downtown Center. Tickets are available in the parish office and cost $65. details

Folk School at Camp Mikell

Tucked away in the Northeast Georgia mountains, Camp Mikell offers the only folk school in Georgia! This year’s event will be Friday, March 4 until Sunday, March 6. Registration now open. details

2016 Promise to Give Banquet

You’re invited to the 2016 Promise to Give Banquet, Family Promise of Hall County’s 3rd annual fundraising and awareness banquet. It will be held on Thursday February 11 at First Baptist Church’s Banquet Hall at 6:30 PM. The vision of this banquet is simple – join us for dinner to learn about our program, support our vision with your financial gifts, and discover the ways you can engage in our community response to end the cycle of homelessness. There is absolutely no cost to attend the banquet, although donations to support the vision of Family Promise will be invited. details
