Blessing of Animals
Grace Church and the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia invite you and your pets to a Blessing of Animals on Sunday, October 4 at 4:00 PM. Held each year in observance of the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, patron saint of animals, the service provides an opportunity not only for your pet to be blessed, but for us to give thanks for blessings we receive through pets and other animals.
We will gather for the service in the parking lot at the corner of Boulevard and Brenau. Pets of all shapes and sizes are invited to come receive a blessing. Please provide appropriate restraint and plan to clean up after any animal you bring. Those who attend are invited to bring a donation for the Humane Society. See their wish list online.
