Our Parish Feast Day
On September 20, we will continue our annual celebration of the Feast of the Holy Cross as a way to celebrate our life as a parish community, keeping in mind our connection with the rich history of Christianity itself. This day gives us an opportunity each year to come together in worship and prayer, baptizing those who are seeking to join the Body of Christ in our particular parish, and remembering our common life, as we say in the Nicene Creed, the “one, holy, catholic and apostolic church.”
This year, we are grateful to have the Rt. Rev. Keith Whitmore, the Assistant Bishop of the Diocese of Atlanta, with us. Join us in celebration this Sunday, September 20!
Empty Bowl Lunch
The Empty Bowl Lunch will be held at First Baptist Church on Tuesday, September 22 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Tickets are $25. You can find more information online at the Georgia Mountain Foodbank website.
