Holy Smoke, What a Night!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. We are grateful to all who bought a ticket, donated an item, bid on an item, rolled up your sleeves to assist, and came out to enjoy an evening of fun, food, fellowship and fundraising at our 2015 Holy Smoke Pig Roast and Auction. The event was a success and proceeds allow our youth to have important and meaningful experiences above and beyond what the operating budget can provide. So again, thank you. We are blessed by your support. Photos of the event are on Facebook!

nic_lin_01GWAG on April 29: #eatprayserve
Our occasional 5th Wednesday GWAG programs are reserved for our Ministry of Compassion night where we delve into Outreach at Grace. Last fall, in collaboration with several from First Baptist, six Grace Church members traveled to Nicaragua for a week of international outreach work with Amigos for Christ. After briefly noting some highlights of our own experiences, we’ll turn the program over to our special guest speaker, Deacon Nick Johnson, a director of Amigos. Nick’s video is a testament to the power of Amigos’s unique approach to serving the Lord through work with the people of Nicaragua, and we’ll hear also about their longstanding commitment to that mission. Please join us for this fascinating program. Make a dinner reservation no later than 12:00 PM on Monday, April 27. details

Vacation Bible School
VBS space is limited and already half full! Priority for Grace Church parishioners and COG preschool students ends on Monday, April 27 so don’t wait to register. The link to the online registration form can be found at our VBS website or Facebook page. Come join the fun at God’s Backyard Bible Camp!

Mark Your Calendar for MESSIAH
On Sunday, May 3, our Parish Choir will present the Lent and Easter portions of MESSIAH at a 5:00 PM performance at Grace Church. We’ll have a choir of 40 singers, an orchestra of 20 players, and 12 vocal soloists. The concert is free of admission and a reception will follow. The public is invited. Please come and bring a friend. details

Annual Parish Picnic
It’s that time of year again! Our Parish Picnic is scheduled for Sunday, May 17 and we want you there! This is a wonderful opportunity to gather for fellowship, fun activities, and a delightful picnic on the Brenau lawn following our 10:00 AM combined worship service. We will need volunteers before (setting up), during (serving drinks, supervising activities) and after (cleaning up). If you are available and willing to help, please sign up on the board in the greeting area. We appreciate you! details
