A continental breakfast will be served beginning at 9:30 AM. Come end your Lenten fast. All parishioners are invited to bring flowers and greenery from their garden to help flower the cross in the Greeting Area.
There is no Children’s Chapel Easter morning. A nursery will be available from 8:45 AM-12:15 PM for children age 4 and under.
Children up to 5th grade are invited to bring their Easter baskets on Sunday morning and meet in the parking lot at the corner of Brenau Ave. and Boulevard (weather permitting) to participate in an egg hunt that will begin at about 9:30 AM. Please note that families with children participating in the egg hunt should plan to attend the 11:00 AM service.
Don’t forget to bring your filled mite boxes with you to church on Easter Sunday. There will be baskets to receive them at all three services. All money received is sent to Episcopal Relief and Development to aid those in need.
The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, April 6 and on Tuesday, April 7. The office will reopen at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 8.
There is no GWAG on April 8. The Parish Choir will rehearse as usual at 7:00 PM but the choristers will have the week off. Dr. Park’s Loving Your Kids on Purpose class will not meet.
The Wednesday DOK group will meet April 8 at 10:30 AM in the conference room to continue our discussion about who we are as Daughters of the King in a mindful church such as Grace. How can we serve? How can we grow in community and love? The Sunday group will meet April 12 in the Parlor after the 10:45 AM service. The group will complete a questionnaire for “Finding your Effective Ministry at Home, Work and Church” led by Jenny Massey. Beginning in June we will be meeting together for the summer so maybe we can share our findings and bring the group more in community.
Grace adults gather each month in the Youth Room to watch and discuss movies old and new addressing a wide variety of subjects. A very casual occasion, participants often bring a little food and drink to share. We always have a good time and lively discussion—join us at 7:00 PM on Friday, April 10.
