The Sunday of the Passion: Palm Sunday
Both services on March 29 will begin with the blessing of the palms and a procession into the church in a reenactment of Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem – remembering when people gathered, waving palms and shouting, “Hosanna, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.” Both services will feature communion, lessons, and a reading of the Passion Gospel. Weather permitting, the 8:15 AM service will begin on the porch just outside the front door into the narthex and the 10:45 AM service will begin in the parking lot at the corner of Boulevard and Brenau Ave.

Ecumenical Service
At noon each Wednesday in Lent, we gather with members of other churches in our community for worship and a light lunch. (Suggested donation is $5.) Please note there are no 12:10 services in the Grace Church Chapel on these Wednesdays. The service on April 1 will be at First Presbyterian with the Rev. Monsignor Jaimie Barona, preaching.

The Triduum Sacrum: The Sacred Three Days
Once each year we have the unique opportunity to spend three days together as a parish family observing the signature days from which we derive our identity as followers of the Christian faith. These three days are known in the Church as the “Triduum Sacrum” – the Sacred Three Days. They include Maundy Thursday, Good (God’s) Friday, and Holy Saturday, culminating in the Great Vigil. Together, they create a “liminal” space, a threshold through which we move from ordinary to extraordinary time. Perhaps you can imagine how dramatic the conclusion of the Triduum Sacrum – the Great Vigil – is if you have participated in its entirety. This is who we are-the people of the Resurrection! Please consider these three days as the most special family activity you can offer those you love. Don’t miss out on a single wonderful moment! more details
