As well, all are encouraged to bring their own copy of the Book of Common Prayer, a Bible, and a journal or binder for taking and keeping notes. For assistance with purchasing resources, please contact Fr. Stuart.

Adopt a Godchild
Sign up on Sundays and Wednesdays to participate in “Adopt a Godchild,” a new concept in our parish wide desire to know one another more fully in a more cross-generational spirit. The idea is to gain the opportunity to build a relationship with a child/adult that you don’t yet know closely, share common threads, and support one another in our faith. The program includes children ages birth to age 18 and adults ages 19-100+!!!

Taste of Gainesville
Join Grace Church members for a special event from 6—9 PM on Saturday October 4, dinner on the plaza at the Lake Lanier Olympic Rowing Center across from Clark’s Bridge Park. Over 30 area restaurants offer generous samples of different foods from soups to salads, appetizers to desserts. Overlooking the Olympic rowing and canoe/kayak venues, the spot is a perfect place to relax as the sun goes down. The tickets are $25 and may be purchased in the parish office (kids under 10 are free). Make checks payable to “Lake Lanier Rowing Club.” The deadline for purchasing Grace Church tickets is September 26, but please try to sign up early so tables can be reserved most easily.
