Feast of the Holy Cross
On September 14 we will begin our annual celebration of the Feast of the Holy Cross as a way to celebrate our life as a parish community, keeping in mind our connection with the rich history of Christianity itself. On Sunday, everyone will have a chance to come forward to the chancel and view the stone from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre that is embedded in our altar. This stone, Grace Church’s very own relic, reminds us of the greater reality of which we are a part. Fr. Stuart invites each of us to walk up to the chancel on Sunday morning, pause, say a prayer, and be reminded of the practice of faith that we all share.

No Children’s Chapel
There will be no Children’s Chapel on Sunday, September 14. Children are invited to attend the 10:45 AM worship service and be witnesses to the baptisms and see the stone from the Church of the Holy Sepulchre that is embedded in our altar – Grace Church’s very own relic!

Ministry Fair & Breakfast
Come to the Ministry Fair this Sunday, September 14 from 9:00—10:30 AM. Tables will be set up around the Parish Hall and Greeting Area representing all the different ministry areas at Grace Church. Visit each table to learn how you can get involved. A continental breakfast of miniature muffins, danish, veggie breakfast casserole, bagels with butter and cream cheese, and fruit will be served. Come and enjoy!

Last Chance to Appear in the Pictorial Directory
Fr. Stuart says he will dye his hair pink if we have at least 210 households photographed for our new pictorial directory! Right now we’re at 185… schedule your appointment today.

Adopt a Godchild
Sign up on Sundays and Wednesdays to participate in “Adopt a Godchild,” a new concept in our parish wide desire to know one another more fully in a more cross-generational spirit. The idea is to gain the opportunity to build a relationship with a child/adult that you don’t yet know closely, share common threads, and support one another in our faith. The program includes children ages birth to age 18 and adults ages 19-100+!!!

Great Wednesdays at Grace: #eatpraytalk

How would you like to be involved? We have a place for you! Make a meal reservation no later than 12:00 PM on Monday, September 15.  more GWAG details
